80mm burrs experience (SSP, Ditting, EG1, Ultra, Uber...)

Which 80mm SSP model is he stating is the same as the EG-1 ULF? I think he states the HU 80mm is the EG-1 ULF burr but with 2 screw holes but since other sizes with that same name (HU, high uniformity) are espresso oriented burrs that produce fines, I want to make sure in case I order them.

Just got an email from him saying... "actually we have High, Low, Ultra in 80 mm the same as 98 mm. we normally recommend Low version for ditting because people normally use 804 for filter coffee. it is hard to find difference with picture. High burr set has longer cutting edges than Low version and different angle on its last grinding stage."

For me, unless those two made far superior coffee, I would give a lot of consideration to the Ditting because it would be a lot less risky to own in my opinion. Ditting being a multi-decade old company will likely be around a lot longer than the micro-sized start-ups making the other grinders, so long term support is more assured with a Ditting.

Just took the Lab Sweet burrs out of my Ditting 804 to test them in the EG-1, and they fit perfectly with the Ditting screws. Alignment was an absolute breeze, and I pulled a perfectly timed espresso on my Decent on the first try. Stunning shot. Very excited to try these burrs at various RPMs.

Difference Between Ditting 804 & 807 Grinder Series

The Lab Sweets of each series, 804 and 807, are the same basic design. In the 804 series, the 804 Lab Sweet is a mirrored finish (gorgeous!) with the Sweet discs installed.
